Convey Virtual Responders (Convey:VR) allow most any device with a browser to be used to respond to questions in place of our yellow, dedicated, hardware responder. They can also be mixed and matched.

Convey:VR's are flexible, allowing users to have a multi-function device. They work great in a 1-to-1 computing rollout.

Convey:VR's are powered by the cloud based Convey:Enterprise server.

It doesn't cost anything to access the login page for the Convey:VR. The annual Convey:Insight License covers a student/participant using either a hardware or virtual responder. The student can use whatever device is handy at the moment, switching back and forth as availability dictates.

Convey:VR's employ the latest web technologies including web-sockets and more. Click the link above to test whether your browser and/or firewall are compatible with the Convey:VR. The Android and iOS platforms are both supported as is Windows Phone 7. The Kindle Fire by Amazon and Nook by Barnes & Noble also work. Blackberry is currently NOT supported.
Convey:Insight Software Requirements
The Convey:Insight software is what the instructor uses to prepare questions and playlists, launch polling, etc. The Convey:Insight client is the heart of the user experience and the main point of interaction during training times. The client software can be installed on any number of PC's in your organization. Licensing is per student/participant.

Convey:Enterprise is a cloud-based server. Access is via a web dashboard. All major browser platforms are supported: IE 8 and up, Firefox, Chrome, Safari.
The Convey:Insight Handheld Responder
Our yellow responder is ergonomically designed with solid construction for classroom use and employs RF (radio frequency) technology for dependable, individualized interaction between instructors and participants.
LCD Display
The full-featured, five line LCD panel displays status, questions, possible answers, correctness (optional) and other individualized feedback to the student.
While perfect for the typical classroom and roster of 24-32 students, the Convey responder can scale to large auditorium venues with up to 300 responders in use at one time.

Power Saving and Management Features:

Responder uses the most power only when transmitting (key press). Very low power consumed during idle periods.

Quality of signal and battery status information is automatically provided when responder is connected to the base station. This allows users to react easily to low batter indications displayed by the Convey:Insight application software. That's right, the software tells you when a responder has a low battery condition!

Responders automatically turn off after 15 minutes of inactivity. Re-connection to current Convey:Insight session is simple on re-start.
