Convey:Insight uses a CSV import engine. You need to export your class rosters to a CSV file. (typically created in Excel then saved as a .csv file) Download the Import Roster Template.csv here ...
The file must contain the following information: Class (Course) name, Student ID, Student First Name, Student Last Name. (The Class name must be present in all rows).
To import the class roster in Convey:Insight open the Teacher/Class/Roster Editor. Select the teacher (in the tree on the left) under whom you want to import the class (typically yourself). Click on the Class tab. Click the Import Wizard button. Select the CSV file you wish to import.
Map the fields using the drop down menus.
Click Next to move through the wizard. You may need to reconcile items that do not pass auditing. Click 'Finish' to complete the import.
